Nick asks if Hadrian’s Wall can get them the $100k for the books. HW is always willing to help Nick, but he’s still shaky on his allegiance to them. And isn’t there some sort of discount that Nick can get for being a Grimm?Īt this point, the Scooby gang tries to enlist the help of Hadrian’s Wall. I don’t know about you all, but I don’t know anyone who can just come up with $100k in 24 hours. And Nick has only 24 hours to procure the money. But Felix will only sell them for $100,000. And because Nick is a Grimm with common sense, he wants the books. Felix, who is as passionate about books as Monroe is about clocks, lets Nick examine the book. Nick brings Trubel along, which creates some tension–Felix wasn’t expecting to see a second Grimm. That call gives them the opportunity to learn where Felix is heading.įelix shows up at Monrosalee’s house with one of the books. They ransack Felix’s shop and end up on the phone with Monroe. And because they’re with Black Claw, they’re not going to stop in their search for the books. ![]() For now, it seems that they grossly outnumber our heroes.Ī pair of Anubii kill Andrea in their search for the Grimm books, which are traveling with Felix at this point. Black Claw is a ruthless force that has proliferated rapidly (and it’s been developed much better than the Verrat and Resistance). This is also the moment in which every Grimmster immediately loved Felix. Monroe asks about how Nick is adjusting to living with Adalind. Nick and Monroe also have a bonding moment out on the fome rooftop. Monroe says that the house is cool in a “post-apocalyptic, neo-industrial steampunk” way–oh, Monroe, how I love you. Rosalee refers to the house as a “fome” (part fortress, part home). And guess what? They’re Grimm books!įrom this point, it’s established that we are deviating from our case-of-the-week format.īack in Portland, there’s a cute housewarming scene at the paint factory home that includes most of the Scooby gang. The episode starts in Prague with an appraiser named Andrea, who calls a man named Felix, a book dealer, about a collection of antique books that he should check out.įelix, who lives in Germany, ends up receiving the books. And I can’t help but feel that we are being led up to some grand finale. It was a Monroe-centric episode that also gave us some great insight into the long history of the Grimms. This was a very important episode, so this blog post is an especially long one.Īs the 98th episode in the series, it began to set us up for a spectacular reveal that we have wanted ever since Aunt Marie gave the first key to Nick. “Map of the Seven Knights” was, in my opinion, one of the best Grimm episodes in the entire series. “History is the nightmare from which I am trying to awake.”
