![]() ![]() Regardless of how much thought I put into packing it, the thing I needed always seemed to be at the bottom. The last point cannot be understated, I persisted with a big saddle bag for a year and it was always annoying to get anything out of. Compared to a saddle bag it is MUCH more pleasant to use: attaches quicker, rock solid when attached and SO much easier to pack and unpack. Fabric feels and looks high quality, has held up well to abuse. I regret not getting the light mount but it was out of stock at the time. Although this thing is gorgeous so it would be a good excuse to show it off. Was initially considering the Aeropack but I prefer the ability to remove the top bag without removing the rack, it would be kinda weird to walk around the shops/work with a rack. I opted for the long top stay variant which means, provided I'm mindful not to fully pack the front of the top bag, no interference with my dropper post. The ability to quickly attach/detach a rack to either bike is just awesome, especially for the road bike. ![]() I use the frame mounts on my gravel bike and bought a through axle for my road bike (Roubaix). Seems extremely well made, super light weight and can be attached/detached easily. Was planning on using this setup for bikepacking but injury has meant I've only used it for groceries, short trips and commuting so far.įirstly the rack itself is wonderful. **These weights do not include the removable stacking straps (50g) or the removable bag backbone cover (40g)įew months ago I bought the rack, UD22 panniers and the AP20 trunk bag. Off-road loads will be lower depending on the severity of the terrain, etc. * Maximum loads listed for on-road riding.
